After a rough day on the beach and another late night on the town we have decided to take a car today for a week tour through the south of France. Tim, Kate and I are going to share a car meant for two but they say can fit four and a lifetime experience as we cruise through the villages that make up the wine country in the South. Tonight's stop is Toulouse where the french couple we met has offered their rooms for us to stay in. After that who knows...stop in random villages where tourists never go and English is never uttered? Incredible experiences are soon to be had that I have always dreamed of. Internet access may be spotty so will update whenever I can. I know my posts are brief, but sitting on the computer typing is not on the top of my list while culture is on the other side of the door. So until the next Adios-hClick on 'OLDER POSTS' at bottom of page to see all posts

HI Heath!!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you are fitting in already, with the exception of the beds. Wait till you see the bath tubs in France...one half of Ali's size!!!
You have also learned the first rule of travel..
LIGHT. I wish we girls could cut it down to half a back pack.
And Yes, your riot experience...European football it quite the INTENSE thing. Very competitive, and confrontational, fans. World Cup Soccer time is fun.
It is good to hear you have quickly come to know the easy going, open european way. On the other hand, be careful, they can take you too, real easily.
The pictures of Spanish food is...well...ick.
Did you take those AND add the caption??
Your blog is a technological wonder!! :) How busy are you with your Blackberry?? Hmmmm
Josh has probably told you that our Mexico trip was really nice! He did tell us that the construction job fell through..leaving you to travel. Thank you for taking us along on the journey.
Oh yes, Alicia has all moving along nicely, it is me that is holding things up a bit..just to
many other things that need more attention at the moment.
Hugs,
Your Flagstaff Mom....Val
